The End is Near!!

Well...just kidding. A lot has happened this past month! My internship here at Kiss is over in about 3 weeks already, I'm sad!! I've had such a blast here since January! It's an amazing feeling to experience an industry that I know I would love to be in for the rest of my life!

Last Friday I attended the Ladies Event at the Plant Station with Mary, Karli, and Tanya. Even though it was short, we still had a great time had fun entertaining everyone that attended!

Changes

It's crazy how time flies!!! I am over halfway done with my internship here at Woodward. I still feel like I have much to learn yet and I am not ready for it to be over!!

As of last week I decided that it is time to finally move out on my own!! Well not completely on my own but to move into a place with my boyfriend. Since I am done with school there is no need to stay living at home. I am going to be 23 next month so I think it is the time!!! I'm nervous but very excited at the time same. My next big step prior to moving out will be finding a full time job. I have my portfolio finished so I feel pretty confident in presenting everything that I have learned the past three years!!

Well winter is back!!! Hello hot chocolate, fluffy boots, and mittens. It wasn't so bad being snowed in but I am totally ready for some warm weather!!! Unfortunately I didn't make it into the station last night since it was so nasty. But will be out at Headliner's again for Klub Kiss!!!

Well it's snowing on my first day of spring break yuck!!! Oh well it's no different than any other week since I don't ever have any classes.

So there was a shooting in Fond Du Lac this past weekend, that is freaky! Nothing like that ever happens around here, well few and far between to say the least.

The St. Patty's party at Headliner's went well last Thursday!! Turned out to be a decent turn out considering it was a week night, I had a great time!! Met some new people this time around!

So it's that time of year again! I usually don't celebrate for this holiday much other than wearing green....it's feels like Easter is around the corner! Will be down at Headliner's tonight for the Kiss St. Patty's party, it shall be interesting!!!

This sure makes me feel lucky to be living in Wisconsin!!!

Well the cold has returned and I am even more than ready for spring!!! Which may even be an understatement. Yesterday I attended a business expo in Green Bay. It was a new learning experience and made it very easy to network with different businesses. I was the most interested in the Marketing firms since they are based off of my major. Most of them were local or located within Wisconsin. It was no surprise to hear their responses when I told them I was graduated and looking for a job. They all said how there is nothing out there right now and that it is really tough. I was hearing the same thing over two years ago already. I thought that it would have been better by now! There were a couple booths that were networking companies and they were very interested in getting me involved. It sounds like it will only benefit me in my job search as well as connect me to new people throughout Wisconsin....anyways...I hope things take a turn for the better soon!! Otherwise I might have to keep taking classes ha

I just heard some news that another soldier from Wisconsin was killed in Iraq today.

It's so sad to hear about these types of things, meanwhile people are complaining about Walker and other nonsense. It seems that they have forgotten that there are still thousands of American's that are risking their lives for our country everyday! It makes me feel lucky for what I have and that I no longer have any loved ones fighting in the war. What is it even over anymore??
People expected so much from Obama, but one man can't change years of damage that Bush has done. I do agree that something has got to give, but I know that it will not be a quick fix. We as Americans can begin to help by making better decisions with our money and over all lifestyle!!
Now...don't even get me started on global warming!!!

Well this weather sure seems to be making people crazy; I'm afraid to drive!!
It's interesting that it seems to be more busy at my job (Cousin's Subs) than on a normal day. I think people feel the need to stock up when they get shut in for a night.

It was a nice, relaxing weekend...seeing old friends from high school as well as hanging out with my grandparents. One of the girls that I ran into had heard Shanaynay on air the other night but didn't even know it was me. I feel kinda of famous...I hope that people continue to tune in!!!

Always Learning Something New Everyday

Last night was my second time on air with Heather Storm! I really wasn't nervous at all considering I knew more what to expect this time. We found out that people would much rather be stuck in a jail cell with the tooth fairy than santa because she's hot. I don't get it, santa is awesome!! haha

I'm loving this spring weather even though it is such a tease!

I have never heard of this movie before but watched it last night. I thought that it really portrayed Wisconsin well! With the Polar Plunge coming up this weekend along with the weather and Wisconsin norms, it was perfect!! You should check it out! It's called Feed the Fish.

The Big VD

Well my Valentines Day consisted of a whole weekend!!! I used to be a bit salty towards this holiday, but my bf sure proved that there ARE decent guys out there! So basically I was spoiled rotten :) We went out to eat a few days before to beat the rush; so last night our date was free all you can bowl at Fox Valley Lanes. I broke a 100 a couple times and even beat the guys!!

So what's next??? I am definately enjoying this warmer weather and am ready for spring and baseball season!! I'm assuming this is a tease since we still have about a month and a half to go.

I only managed to watch the first half hour of the Grammy's the other night. Lady Gaga's egg pretty interesting...it's crazy the things people will do these days.

That is all I have for now! I think my blogging skills still need some work.

Shanaynay knows all about relationships!!!

So last night was my first time on air with Heather Storm!!! Tune in every Wednesday night from 7 until 10!! My name is Shanaynay and my personality consists of giving advice about dating and relationships!! It was crazy to hear myself talk! haha I had such a great time coming up with new ideas listening to the feedback.

I want to thank my small fan club for tuning in, love you all!!!

I was so wired after wards I couldn't fall asleep last night. It's evident to me that I am having a such a great time with this internship already and its only just begun!

New Beginnings!

Hi Everyone!!!

I am a few days into my internship at 95.9 KISS FM!!! I graduated from Fox Valley Technical College last May. After all of my hard work, I have an Associate Degree in Marketing; and was able to receive certificates in Entrepreneurship and MS Office Suite last semester!! So for the first time in three and half years I am finally done with homework and doing something I enjoy!!!

My sister can even recall when we were little, how I used to pretend that I was a DJ and had my own radio station...now look how far I have come!

I am a very hard worker and believe that anything is possible. I have been through a lot even though I am only 22, but it has made me who I am today!

The mall and Plamann disc golf course are my two favorite places to be.

This year has sure brought an amazing start with my new journey and the Superbowl win!! I'm so excited for this internship and am learning something new everyday!
